Your Instructor
Clinton Tan, a partner in the firm's Civil Litigation and Arbitration departments, holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Bristol, U.K. He was admitted as a Barrister at-Law (Lincoln's Inn) in 2011 and as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2012.
Clinton’s multidisciplinary dispute resolution practice includes providing legal representation and advice in areas such as arbitration, corporate and commercial litigation, estate and probate claims, defamation and tortious claims. He has represented both corporate and private individuals in all levels of Malaysian courts, as well as in arbitration claims in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
Over the years, he has handled disputes revolving around technical subject matters such as confidential information pertaining to the designing of satellite dishes, and geotechnical engineering issues in land reclamation. These experiences have helped Clinton develop a confidence in his ability to handle disputes of complicated and complex matters.
