Your Instructor
Mr Johnny Yong was previously a Technical Manager in the Global Accountancy Profession – Support (GAP-S) department of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) . His primary portfolio then was to serve the IFAC’s SMP Advisory Group, advocating this constituent’s interest when dealing with the IAASB's standards on auditing, among others.
Prior to his posting to New York, Johnny was the Director of a training service provider “GlobalAcc Research & Training Sdn. Bhd” and was actively involved in the professional development of accounting & finance personnel all over Malaysia with a major emphasis on GST awareness and implementation modules.
Before joining GlobalAcc, he was the Operations Director for the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (MAICSA) and the Head of Public Practice with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants for over 10 years.
