This is an example of communication to employees prior to starting work. To prep them up in a more positive note amidst all the stress, anxiety and negative news floating around.

Hello fellow <how you address your company staff>, I would like to give you a short message before we start work on <date of business restart>.


As you know, there will be a SOP and Protocol in place for all employees to observe with regard to cleanliness, distancing and keeping safe. 


While the MCO has been relaxed to allow us to work, it does not mean the danger has passed, because pandemics in the past tend to last for a while before it is no longer a threat because of a cure or vaccine. 


SARS took 3 years before disappearing, and MERS, the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome took 8 years, so by no means is the danger over. 


We have on our own decided that those in the high risk group are allowed to work from home, along with pregnant ladies and people with lack of help in caring for young children.

So everyone of you need to take great care and not let down your guard. 


Follow the SOP and we will get through this. 


Not only get through this but thrive. 


Now I know there has been a lot of negative news during this period and many businesses are in trouble, such as hotels and airlines. 


But not for us. 


This is a period for us to unite and work together although we lost a lot of money during lockdown. 


Why?

Believe me, our best performance is still ahead.
